Operational Plan
Following all your efforts in recent team planning days, Library managers are now putting together a draft operational plan.  We are trying to do this on SharePoint this time to help with version control.  You can go in at any stage and see the draft under construction!  [Please don’t “checkout” the document on SharePoint].  Let me know if you have any problems accessing this document on SharePoint.

We are aiming to get the edits completed by 8th January so it will be very much a work in progress until then.  Library Managers Meeting on 13th January will then look at the whole operational plan and discuss areas of crossover.

Consultation will take place on the draft plan between 13-22 January.  The plan will get a final polish on the week commencing 25th January in readiness for submitting to Alex by the end of January.

Strategic Plan
Following feedback from staff on the draft Strategic Plan we’ve now sent the draft to Write Ltd, who specialize in writing documents in Plain English.  They have expertise in writing planning documents and their fresh eyes will hopefully give us useful comments on the Plan to make it clear and concise without losing the key points.
