Some of you may have noticed that we’ve recently made some small changes to simplify the hours page. It’s now possible skip ahead in the calendar  to view opening hours up to 12 weeks away. Exceptions to the usual hours will display in red within the calendar, so we’ve removed the old exceptions list.

For those of you that are interested to know the workings, the hours are no longer running off the Horizon calendar, but are using the hours module in LibCal. This means that we no longer have to switch pages when the academic year changes to the summer period, and we won’t be having any more problems when switching to and from daylight saving time (hooray!).

It’s not a major change, so we’re not expecting any problems, but please send any comments, issues, feedback to eServices.
