We’ve had a chance to assess the damage and can now confirm the Education Library is closed today due to a large water leak.
The closure will be active until further notice and we will advise when the library will reopen as soon as practicable.
For those who have room bookings/appointments based at EDU, please make other arrangements.

The Education Library will re-open tomorrow morning at 8am.
At this point, only staff will be able to access the LC collection on Level 2. Tarps will be over stacks closest to the leaks and it is my understanding that scaffolding will be erected that will block access to the stacks. Please ask borrowers to request any material they require and staff will retrieve them. We can reassess this tomorrow.
The computer room and discussions rooms will be accessible.
A temporary Information Desk is set up between the Liaison Librarian Office and the stairwell as the usual desk is directly below the damaged section of the library.
