ITS makes available a lot of software that is not installed on our machines by default e.g. Chrome, FileZilla, CoralDraw etc.

In the past we have installed this by using Control Panel and the various Add/Remove software installation links. This is changing. By July 9th the old ways will not work. Instead your machine will have new software called Software Center – you’ll see it if you click on ‘Start’ then ‘All Programs’.

It is easier to use and lets you install more than one program at once. It will also provide clearer options for those times when ITS send out a large number of patches that can potentially slow your machine for ages.
