The Canterbury Disaster Salvage Team will be delivering a hands on, two day fire and flood salvage workshop at the Woolston Fire Training Facility, 26-27 October 2016.

The library is able to send three staff members to this so if you would like to attend, please send expressions of interest with a brief  to Jo Condon via email by 19 August. Include a brief explanation as to why you are interested in attending.

Note that this is a practical workshop which involves salvaging wet and burnt materials. The wearing of unflattering shoes, clothing and headwear may be required!
