You are all welcome to attend the opening at 5pm this evening for an exhibition showcasing work produced by Ioane Ioane during his 2016 Creative New Zealand/Macmillan Brown Pacific Artist Residency.

O le malaga malosi tele provides a glimpse into Samoa’s navigational past while expanding an ancient art form within a contemporary context.

Exhibition opens 5pm Thursday 15 September 2016 (tonight!) and runs until 7 October at the Matariki Building, Level 1, University of Canterbury

Ioane Ioane will provide a presentation at 1pm Friday 16 September in the same venue. You are all also welcome to attend.
