Mā te wā.
Kia ora koutou. It’s great to see Ngā Awa e Rua in the light of the day again.
I really like the whakatauki “He waka eke noa”, it summarises how this is a strategy for us all.
I notice that the goal of developing a Māori Services and Resources Team led by a Tumuaki Māori (1.3) is now listed as an “aspirational goal”. The goals in section 4 will help us work towards this bigger goal and I’m wondering if we have a plan for making this a reality? Having some sort of time frame in mind to be working towards may help us keep this in focus.

I agree with Caroline. We need a plan and a timeframe.
My aspiration is 2019. It is aspirational because at the moment we cannot create a new general staff position unless we give up another equivalent one or two, but we can plan and work towards this goal and you never know what opportunities may arise. Library managers review and discuss staffing requirements across the Library once a year.
