The Learning and Teaching Services Team seeks a warm and knowledgeable librarian to join us for 10 weeks. The purpose of the role is to provide additional support as we work to develop services that are scalable as well as humanistic–encouraging. The role (band 4) will be personally demanding, requiring complex problem solving while exhibiting empathy, establishing trust and being open to learning. The position will be based in the Central Library full-time for a fixed term of 10 weeks. Duties will include –
- Co-ordinate and deliver logistical support for the Library’s UCPathways programme
- Work together with Subject Librarians to conduct a systematic evaluation of one of our Semester 1 embedded information literacy offerings
- Provide subject specific drop in enquiry service in support of targeted assignments
- Other duties or project work in support of the delivery of information literacy and subject specialist enquiry services with particular emphasis on transition to UC
