The Information Resources Working Group is interested in trialling a product called SciVal from Elsevier.  Blurb from Elsevier about what SciVal is: “SciVal enables you to visualize research performance, benchmark relative to peers, develop collaborative partnerships and analyze research trends.”

We’re looking at doing a trial of SciVal in August/September.  As part of the trial Elsevier would like to come and deliver a 3 hour Metrics workshop on Monday 28th August 9-12pm which will be in Room 210, Puaka-James Hight.
