The Rosalind Patrick Development Award 2017

Application for the 2017 Rosalind Patrick Professional Development Award will be opening on Monday 3 July. I would like to give everyone a heads up because it’s opening earlier than the previous years.

The Rosalind Patrick Professional Development Award was established in 2002, in memory of Rosalind Patrick who was employed in the University of Canterbury Library from 1980 to 2002.  An award is given each year to one or more members of UC Library staff, to undertake some form of professional development.

Please submit your application by Friday 4 August 2017 to Saharu Shoji saharu.shoji@canterbury.ac.nz

This year we are interested in applications from staff who would like to attend a conference, visit another library, bring a guest speaker to UC, or some other professional development opportunity during the next 12 months. There is likely to be enough funds this year to enable more than one person to receive this award.

Further details and an application form can be found on the HR section of Camelot Wiki.

The Awards will be announced and presented at a function on 5 September.

We look forward to receiving your applications.

Ngā mihi

Saharu and Anne
