We are currently experiencing problems accessing ProQuest databases due to an outage at ProQuest headquarters. They have had a power outage and are working to resolve the issue. At this stage we do not have an ETA on a fix.

FYI for Endnoters: The ProQuest outage prevents downloading records from MultiSearch into Endnote Library.
Seems to be affecting all citation formats – once you choose a format you get a “citation processing error” message. If the issue continues once ProQuest is back up and running we’ll report it to them – Romy
Also impacting on Library Catalogue – slowing down the item details screen. This is because Syndetics (who do our book covers) is a PQ product and also down – the catalogue pulls in book covers for each record and is trying and failing to connect to the service.
Citations were affected by outage of RefWorks (also owned by ProQuest). All ProQuest services are now back online.
