Another research seminar has been organised for September 8th 10-11.30. This one is focussed on the use of social media to communicate and promote research. The speakers are:
Dr Catherine Febria, Postdoctoral Fellow, School of Biological Sciences – Catherine is an avid user of open access tools and social media to promote and communicate research. Her talk will be an adapted version of her Gradfest presentation on electronic networking.
Associate Professor Ekant Veer from Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship – Ekant does research in the field of social media and will outline some of the key ideas, trends and developments in this area. Ekant is an engaging speaker and won the 2017 UC teaching medal.
It would be great to have a full audience to support these academics who are willing to take time out of their busy schedule to talk to us. It will be limited to 35 attendees (Room 308 adjacent ASC), booking link below. Morning tea included!
