The current CONZULAC agreement with YBP (now called EBSCO GOBI) ceases on 31st December 2017.  CONZULAC is the name given to the consortium of New Zealand university libraries that participate in this agreement.

There have been some significant changes in the industry over the last couple of years so CONZULAC have decided to test the market again.  They are doing this in the form of an RFI to ask major players in the industry to tell us what they can do for us.

The close date for RFIs was last Friday.  Each member of the consortium will review the responses from the submitting companies and assess the merits of each response against an evaluation matrix.

I am thinking it would be good to have a small group of our Library staff that is involved in this scoring.  A timeline is yet to be advised regarding the completion for this but I will provide an update when further information comes to hand.
