Pumpkin Carving Time!

Kia ora folks,

Back due to popular demand, we’ve decided to sharpen our creativity (and knives) and create some pumpkin art! Create traditional jack-o’-lanterns or something that more reflects you and your artistic energy. Whatever your carving pleasure, please feel free to join us – and your art will photographed and preserved in the next issue of Pānui.

Where: Puaka – James Hight Building, Level 5. Staffroom (if raining) or patio (if fine)

When: 10am to 11am, 26th October

What: bring your pumpkin or pumpkins (or turnips, grapefruit, whatever takes your fancy) and some sharp knives. Small knives with serrated edges seemed to work best (steak knives).

If you can’t join us, we hope you’ll carve one at home or arrange a gathering at your library for like-minded folk. But please email us some pics to share in Pānui, we’d love to see and share them with everyone!
