This is a two-for-one deal really, and some of you may have already seen it promoted via a UC Library Facebook post.

1. You help out a student with her 300 level internship.

2. You contribute to a joint public history project, between Canterbury museum and University of Canterbury.

Blurb from the project page, linked above follows:
‘If you choose to take part in this study, you will be asked to read one or more historical documents and identify and transcribe names. This task should take no longer than 5-10 minutes, but you may spend as much time on it as you wish. Then you will be asked to complete a short survey, which should take about 10 minutes.’
