IT have just confirmed that the problems students have been having trying to access Lexis Advance database are related to recent changes to the UC wireless (and Eduroam) network regarding undergrad student access to campus resources. They are working on a fix which should be implemented soon.
If you come across students using their laptops who are getting blank screens when clicking on the Lexis Advance database link, direct them to use it on one of the UC computers instead or to try with a mobile hotspot or home wifi connection instead (NB: wifi network in the halls will also be affected by the problem).
We will put out an update when the fix is in place.
