EBSCO academic training session

Liza Fisher, Nadia Davis and Paula Banks will be presenting a session on Thursday 12th April 9:30-12:00pm now in Jack Erskine 101.  Colleagues from Lincoln and Ara are also expected to join us.

Session blurb from EBSCO:  “The Academic library session, will give you the opportunity to learn about best practices for customising your library interfaces for both EBSCOhost and EBSCO Discovery Service customers and marketing and promoting your library’s e-resources to ensure you are getting the best return on investment. Our guest speaker will demonstrate their set up and provide a unique user perspective.  We will also be demonstrating our eBook functionality including recent enhancements and updates along with workflows and statistics. There will be discussion around our additional resources and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings and updates. Then an opportunity to collaborate and ask questions in the form of a round table discussion.  The Academic library session is aimed at all library staff, including liaison/faculty librarians, systems librarians/library administrators, acquisition staff as well as frontline library staff. “
