Training in Echo360 for instructors

Alison Maloney, Learning Technologist with Echo360 will be coming to the University to conduct some training on the ECHO360 system during UC Teaching Month. Alison will be running two two hours sessions on the 12th and a four hour session on the 13th July. There is a limit of 20 attendees at each session so please click on the links to register for your preferred time:

Thursday 12th July (Intermediate level)

Session 1 – 10am -12pm, The Den, 206 Puaka James Hight

Session 2 – 2pm – 4pm, The Den, 206 Puaka James Hight

Friday 13th July (introductory to advanced level)

10:00am-2:00pm, The Den, 206 Puaka James Hight

  • An overview of the student functionality
  • Working with video and capture including PCAP (our desktop capture solution)
  • Creating classes
  • Using polls and quizzes
  • An overview of the analytics

Discussion about ways Echo360 can enhance learning with specific use cases, such as:

  • In-class formative assessment
  • Flipped classroom practices
  • Using the analytics
