Over the last year or so a small group of us (Dave L, John, Simon, Wendy W, Alison Mc/Sara and myself) have been reviewing our ordering process for monographs with the aim of making the ordering process as efficient and seamless as possible.  This work continues, but to start with we have agreed some guidelines that we can implement immediately.  These are summarised on this wiki page under Acquisitions resources.  They are not meant to be hard and fast rules but seek to clarify who holds responsibility in certain areas.  If you have any questions or feedback in the meantime, please feel free to contact one of us.
