Issues with Skype for Business directory and phone calls

There seems to be some issues with Skype for Business at the moment.  Specifically if you try to call someone internally via the directory look up you’ll get a busy tone.  Typing the extension number in instead should work though.  IM is still working fine.

The issue has been reported to ITS.

  1. ITS have fixed the issue now – this was their response to my Assyt job

    The issue calling 5 digit extensions has now been resolved. Please note that it is recommended when making an internal call that you always use the “Skype Call” option. When you search for a name in SfB, you can right click the name, select “Call” and use the “Skype Call” option. This will also provide a better voice experience.
