Kia ora koutou
There’s been a couple of queries about MyLists in the library catalogue lately where people have had their lists disappear. Lists are set to expire 365 days after they are created. After this date they will no longer show in My Account.
Expiry dates can be seen by clicking on the My Lists link at the top right of My Account. Then clicking on the Manage Lists button at the top right of the screen.
If people are using lists still and they are nearing the expiry date they can keep the items by creating a new list e.g. My List 2019 and moving all the items to it. Or they can use the Email list function to hold on to items that way (this is the safest option as it means the list is backed up elsewhere).
E-services may be able to resurrect old lists that have already disappeared – we need to know who the borrower is, and the list name if there were more than one (most people don’t rename their list and just use the default MyList so if they can’t give you a name it will likely just be “My List”). It can take a bit of time for us to do this.
Ngā mihi,
Romy (on behalf of E-services)
