Te Paea was one of the four winners of this year’s Vice-Chancellor General Staff Development awards. She applied for funding to be able to attend the IFLA World Library and Information Congress in August 2019 where she is chairing and organising sessions, giving a paper and then passing on her role as chair of the Indigenous Matters section to a new office holder!
As you know Te Paea had also received support from the Library to attend the congress.
I accepted Te Paea’s award certificate on her behalf this morning and its now in her office awaiting her return 🙂
Kia pai to koutou rā,
Lyndsay.
