New staff members may not have borrower records on Horizon

***Update 16 December – this issue remains unresolved (we suspect we are somewhat low on the IAMs aftermath issues priority order for fixes.  There haven’t been many new staff contracts entered since the new system went live and we have stopped adding new database access blocks for the time being (existing ones will still be affected).  ***

As a consequence of the kick-off of the new identity management system last weekend ( IAM project) Margaret hasn’t received a new file of UC staff today.  She relies on this to create new borrower records for staff on Horizon.  This should only affect new staff added to HR/Peoplesoft from today until we can get  a solution in place.

We’re also not getting notifications of IT password changes at the moment.  These are used to unblock people blocked from remote access login (databases etc.) – if you get anyone complaining that they’ve changed their password and they are still blocked, please refer them to eServices (eservices@libr.canterbury.ac.nz) and we will unblock them manually.

ITS are working on both these issues.
