In Summon, go to the Advanced Screen. Then select “Add results beyond your collection” in the “Expand your results” box. In the ‘Content Type’ box, scroll down and tick ‘Research Guide’. Then search the subject of interest.
Thanks, Peter, that is timely as I’ve been asked by the School of Music to write a short guide on finding performance programme notes.
Another way, which I’ve used previously, is to use a Google search, limiting by a URL string. For Libguides, after the search words, add
inurl:libguides
For programme notes I got many more results using Google than with the MultiSearch method.
