Further to my post on 7^th May, LAC staff are removing scans that sit outside our ‘normal’ limit with CLNZ (up to 10%). Our understanding is that CLNZ will no longer offer universities a licence to copy up to 50% and we would need to approach the publishers directly.  From a publisher perspective if we make 50% available it will affect textbook sales, with students less likely to buy textbooks. Should over 10% still be needed, we have the option to use transactional licences.
