I can thoroughly recommend the life of the retired. After only one week I am struggling to fit in all of my activities. We have managed an impromptu visit to Castle hill to spend two days with friends and our daughters are making good use of us as babysitters.

I want to thank all of you who made the effort to come to my farewell function and for the lovely gifts and kind words both spoken and written in my card. I have worn the silver chain on several occasions and had a delicious lunch at Drexels with my voucher.

I will miss everyone at UC library especially those I have worked with at EPS for so many years. I have already made a visit to EPS and after Christmas I will find time to visit Central library.
