From today (Wed 16 Dec) the DU to GE collection currently on level 10 will be temporarily put into boxes. The boxes will be moved to Level 9 until they can be unpacked onto shelves on Level 9 in mid January.  The boxes will be labelled and put in order so they can be retrieved from if requested.  They will be  located in the study rooms and along the desks by the windows, in the same order as the collection is shelved, starting in room 905.
We apologise for any inconvenience for students/academics. This is a temporary solution to enable the space on Level 10 to be transformed.  Please help customers find items from boxes if necessary.
The remaining collection on Level 10 (DD – DT) will stay on shelves but be reshuffled.

An update on other floors:
Level 11 A-DC  Completed.
Level 10 DD-DT  In progress.  Books and 1/3 of shelving to be removed.
Level 9 DU-HN  In progress of being shuffled to make room for items from boxes.

Casual staff have been working really hard to move the collections to enable us to meet deadlines for furniture and shelving removal. Hopefully it will all come together towards end of January and look amazing.
