From Tuesday 9 February 2021, the IT Helpdesk will be operating from the ground floor of Matariki, with other Student Services staff. IT will move the two IT Self-Service Kiosks over to Matariki. The IT Direct Dial Phone will be moved to the stand-alone PC at the Pillar with the Tower Race Trophy.
This is a trial, as they try a different way to provide a Monday to Friday drop in service. IT will still keep the 214 PJH offices, as they intend to establish an online bookings ‘by appointment’ service and they will use these rooms for that work. The new service model separates ‘drop in – quick fix issues’ and ‘by appointment – complex consults’.
