Kia ora koutou,
I hope you are all managing after day one of Alert Level 4. I am feeling less cheery than last lockdown – I think the slight novelty has well and truly worn off! The Library managers will meet daily during this period, and will post the main points from our meeting on Counterculture. So today’s update is below.
What has happened today:
- Return dates have been extended
- Website has been updated and checked against the UC advice
- Social media posts have been amended to fit the new circumstances
- AskLive is being staffed – normal enquiry levels so far today
- Fewer academic staff enquiries about online teaching and access to resources so far (this may change)
- Anne is attending the IMT meetings and has been invited to the Academic Liaison Group meetings
What happens next:
- Rā, Te Paea and Tomo will meet to plan for services at Alert level 3
- Essential services offered by the Library to be decided (same as last time? Scanning and posting? Must be within copyright)
- Staff to be asked if they are willing to come in at level 3, and whether they are vaccinated – spreadsheet on SP to be amended
- Tim to post the list of work that can be done at home on Counterculture
- Managers to meet each day
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
ngā mihi,
Sara
