We have been working on a new link maker tool for creating links to e-resources via OpenAthens, and to convert old ezproxy links to OpenAthens URLs.

There are a lot of weird and wonderful links out there, as well as a number of different link types for different resources, so it won’t always generate perfect links. Please test your results, and send any issues to Library Digital Services. We’d like this tool to work comprehensively across all of our resources, so feedback is very much encouraged! We’ll continue to tweak the tool to incorporate as many different rules and resources as we can.

The ezproxy link makers in Learn on the UC intranet will be removed and redirected to this tool in the very near future. Please update any bookmarks you might have for those tools and encourage academics and staff to use the new tool for creating links in Ako | Learn.
