LibCal Emails Intermittently Failing to Send

It appears that some of the LibCal Appointment and Events emails have been failing since around 26th July due to a strange error I have reported to Springshare Support.  The error could be on their end or on our end (as some emails are sent out via UC’s mail system) and their is no clear pattern around the ones that fail.

The failed emails have been both to staff (appointment confirmation alert emails when students make a new booking) and to students/patrons confirmation and reminder emails for appointments and events/workshops.  I have been trying to resend the more recent ones (there’s a nice newish Email Queue feature in LibCal that allows us to do this) so if you receive a whole bunch of emails at once that will be why.

Hoping this will be sorted out quickly but it may take a bit of time if it turns out to be something on the UC end.  In the meantime we’ll keep an eye on the email queue and resend any we spot that have failed.
