We are recruiting for a fixed term, full time archives cataloguer role within the Macmillan Brown Library. The purpose of this role is to arrange and describe the Photographic Services Collection to enable its discovery and use in time for the UC150 celebrations in 2023.
This collection of photographs from the now defunct Photographic Services Department offers a rich visual insight into recent UC history, but we need help to make it discoverable. Knowledge of UC and/or Christchurch history will therefore be an asset to candidates, alongside a knowledge of archival description standards and experience in handling archives.
We are keen for someone to start as soon as possible, with a contract end date of 16 December 2022. Applications close 15 August 2022.
