When we switched to OpenAthens, Digital Services updated all the Ezyproxy URLs in AKO | LEARN to the new formats. However, we are still getting reports of broken links in courses, and it’s now clear that links in URL activities were updated, but not links embedded directly within rich text.

Digital Services are currently looking at how to fix this, but in the meantime you will likely be contact by panicked academics and frustrated students. Until Digital Services come up with a solution, old Ezproxy links can be manually edited and replaced with updated versions from the Link Maker tool. It would also be helpful if Subject Librarians could check links in courses they support (especially for the first half of the courses) and make corrections before they are found.

Also, keep in mind the issue with Zotero, which has also been a common cause of access problems since Ezproxy ended.
