Springer’s cap for APC waivers (as part of our Read & Publish agreement)  is now technically exceeded for 2022 manuscript submissions.    They should honour any pending publications, or authors can come to us for clarification if they’re concerned.

The new cap for 2023 will apply to any articles accepted from 1st Jan 2023 onwards.
