IT have updated the background image on the ADFS login screen used to sign in to Lexis Advance, the Interloans portal and Zoom (via SSO login option).  The image has changed from the default blue microsoft image to a UC Zoom background.   Nothing else has changed – since mid-2020 people can just log in with just their username and password.  They do not need to add @canterbury.ac.nz to the end of their username.

We asked to have this updated when we first started using ADFS for Lexis Advance a couple of years ago so people would feel more confident it was a UC system they were logging in to.  It’s great that it’s finally happened…but we apologise about the inconvenient timing, with teaching material already produced for the year.   If you’ve used screenshots of the sign in page in recordings/instructional material you may want to update them to show the new screen.
