Low toner in the Den
The toner is low and was shaken at 9.40am. Printing seems all right after being shaken. A new toner is stored behind the Help Desk for whoever at the desk to change in the later stage.
EndNote and Word 2007
University IT is promoting Word 2007 to students, and as a result some students are beginning to use it. Unfortunately Word 2007 works very differently from Word 2003 with EndNote. Peter Kennedy has spoken to other institutions who already use Endnote and Word 2007 and find out how it works. Please read the following message from Peter:
Apparently the Endnote installation should create an ‘Add-Ins’ tab near the top right, and clicking this should then show the Endnote toolbar – the University of Queensland has a screen shot showing this.
If this fails, the Endnote site has some instructions on getting the toolbar to work.
