OCI/OEI Empowerment Project Team – insights and opportunities

The OCI/OEI Empowerment Project Team has placed some information on the C3LR, (Culture Change Community Learning Resources), SharePoint site that may be of interest to Library staff. These insights and opportunities were formed as a result of the team’s interviews with Learning Resources staff on the subject of empowerment. The interviews themselves were confidential, but  we felt that it would be useful to share the insights and opportunities that arose as a result of the interviews. If you have any questions about this, they can be addressed to Tim Stedman or me

Design Thinking for Libraries – A toolkit for patron-centred design

There is some potentially very useful material regarding Design Thinking for libraries on the LIANZA web site. The Design thinking toolkit for libraries  has been created specifically for libraries and can be used to assist with creating solutions to challenges regarding services, spaces, etc. The toolkit is freely available to download.
