From today all of the statistics folders that we use have been to the new location under Operations/Statistics on the K:drive. Folders with old statistics have been reviewed and either moved into the archive folder or deleted following discussion with staff from across the library.

A part time, vacancy at the EPS Library is now advertised on the UC vacancies site, so check it out if you are interested. The hours are Monday 8-1pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 4-9pm and the post is academic year only.
The vacancy closes on Wednesday 10th March 2015.

The two meeting rooms on Level 5 of Puaka:James Hight (Totara and room 9) have now been moved to the University’s web-based room booking system along with all of the other rooms on Level 5. If you wish to book either room please use this new system linked form the Facilities Management webpage.
All existing booking in our library system are being moved to the new system and should be completed today. When that is complete the rooms will be removed from the library system. All other rooms will remain on the library system.

Just a reminder that all staff records on horizon are personal to the member of staff and as such should be treated like any other library user. If you need to alter or issue an item onto anyone’s record you must seek permission of the individual first.

The advert for the Flexible Learning Advisor vacancy is now up on the UC website. The post is full time and the advert closes on the 7th August 2014. Any questions please discuss with Nick Ford.

We will be holding the Tower race again this year as part of an extended programme of orientation activities and in collaboration with the RecCentre. The event will be on Wednesday 5th March 2014 between 12-2pm. As in the past I am looking for staff to help out with marshalling activtiies during the event. If you are interested please can you contact Megan Dale whio is collating information for me.
