The radiator in Seminar Room 2 has sprung a leak and the carpet there is now reasonably waterlogged. I have rung FM and they will come and check it out. I have also put a recycling tray under it to stem the flow but it will need to be checked every so often to be of any use. We also probably need to keep an eye on the ceiling underneath Seminar Room 2 – probably above the mopier? – to deal with any water that may also come through there. Students that were in the room seemed rather desparate for the space and were continuing to work around the water but may need to be shifted along once FM arrived.

No more trampolining in the tea room
The base of the beloved bed in the tea room seems to have cracked and broken.
The cause is not immediately obvious.
It would be advisable to use the bed only with due caution until further notice.

How do YOU find a list of UC theses by dept/subject?
Lately, for one reason or another, we have had depts asking for a list of theses for their dept. There does not seem to be any single way of doing this.
Any suggestions?
