Alex Hanlon will be coming to two meetings to talk to Library staff about a number of issues, including the Library Budget, the physical footprint of the libraries and the outcomes of the Janine Schmidt review.

These two sessions will be held –

Thursday 13th September at 2pm, in Room 243, Otakaro, Dovedale

We no longer have any use for tattle tape and I would ask if you could take a stock of what supplies you have and let me know please. We are wanting to see what interest there is from other institutions for this stock and will be advertising its disposal on NZ-Libs.

Next week on 2nd, 3rd and 4th of November, three external suppliers will be giving demonstrations of their RFID packages and staff are invited to attend these sessions.

The first session on each day will run from 9am until 12.30pm and this will be the main demonstration and will include detatils of the conversion to RFID.

The second session on each day, which will run from 2pm until 4pm, will be aimed at Library staff who are users of RFID and is a shorter version of the first session, as it does not include details on conversion, or go to the same depth as the earlier session.
