Library News is now on WordPress. We’ve updated all the links we’ve been able to find on Library Web and the Subject Guides, but please let us know if you come across any that we’ve missed (or alternatively, update them if they’re on your guide or you have bookmarks from your browser).
Most of the functionality is the same – the biggest change is that anonymous users can now post comments, but the comments will be moderated and require approval before they’ll be visible.
We will be creating a help page on Camelot soon, so please bear with us. In the meantime, if you need assistance to post to the blog or are having trouble logging in, please contact Library eServices.
Some tips and info:
Tools for posting can be found in the toolbar at the top-left (+New > Post)
Your profile can be accessed on the top-right (Howdy!). You can edit your profile and change your display name from your username to your real name.
All posts and comments from the old site have been imported here
Big images automatically resize when you make posts
Macrons entered using the Māori keyboard will display properly
Hi all
There are networkwide problems with students trying to logon. If you encounter any borrowers not able to access their accounts or unable to logon at all, please email deborah.pearson@canterbury.ac.nz with their usercode e.g. isl12. This will help her to identify which servers are effected and hopefully fix the problem. Use the email subject heading: student login problem. I will add updates as hear back from Deborah.

Hi All
We are experiencing problems with our eftpos diebold machines at Central. Will leave this till the morning for copy centre to deal with, as cash reload stations are still operational.

Does anyone know the story behind a little cat that is making itself known round the Library and security lately? It is British blue in colour with white on the tip of its tail, and paws and chest. It is also quite small and friendly. Staff in the Extended-hours team are worried about this cat and would like to find it a home if it doesn’t already have one, so please let me know if you have any information about this wee kitty-cat. Thanks.
