I am happy to pose questions for anyone who is absent or would prefer to remain anonymous.

The session will be informal with tea and coffee on offer. Anne will give a general update including information about the budget challenge. Michael Oliver (Campus Services manager) will attend the Tuesday session to give an update on the changes in his area. We have space for other special guests so if you’d like someone to attend or would like to hear about something, please drop me an email or post below. We’ll do our best to make it happen.
Posters of current work or events are, as always, welcome. There will also be the usual question and answer session and if you would like your question posed anonymously/read out, please email me.
End of storage projects
The storage projects, which involved the physical movement of nearly every storage collection item, have come to an end.
As the tidying up of catalogue records and drawing up of new floor plans continues, we thought people might be interested in visiting the storage areas and seeing the changes.
If you’re interested, please add your name and storage area to the comments below, e.g. “Kevin – Henry Field and Law Basement” Once I’ve got an idea of numbers, I will set up visits in April.
Missing a coat?
Storage moves – 28th Feb – 21st March
We are consolidating the monographs now in storage into the Henry Field Library Store.
Detail of work
- Law Basement emptying of AC-Z monographs (approx. 16,000 items)
- TIMG (off-site storage) emptying of 4,100 cartons of monographs (approx. 63,000 items)
Glenna, Sandra and I are working with Crown and TIMG to manage this work. Access to both the Law Basement and Henry Field Library Store will continue as normal. Please contact me if you notice any health and safety or security breaches.
