Students looking for past 100–300 level Chemistry tests can find them on the LEARN course “Chemistry Undergraduate”. They should find “Chemistry Undergraduate” listed amongst their enrolled courses on LEARN. There is also a link to it labelled “Past Tests (via LEARN)” on the home page of the Chemistry Subject Guide https://canterbury.libguides.com/chem
As we’ve had the APA 7th edition for some months now, it was time to change the APA landing page to a simpler and more normal layout.
The wording that was at the top of the landing page is now lcoated at the bottom. There you will find links to the ‘Notable Changes’ page and our pages for the APA 6th edition.
Prof. Jack Baggaley needed an article from a 1957 issue of the Canadian Journal of Physics, which we hold in storage.
He wishes to thank the library staff who acted on his request so swiftly: “I had a pdf of the paper within 3 hours of sending the online request. That’s amazing: to get the journal out of the store, scan it and have it available for me online in 3 hours. How do they manage that? Great system. – thanks for your help.”
The APA 7th library webpages have gone live as the default landing page for APA. There’s a link to the old APA 6th pages from that landing page.
I’ll be running at library staff session 2–3pm next Monday the 18th in the Den, looking at what’s easier (quite a bit) and what’s ‘interesting’ (a little) in the new edition of APA.
