With many folk now at the Education Library, I think it is time we came clean. The first working day of every month is Chocolate Day. If you are going to be in the Education Library on the first working day of the month, please feel free to participate by bringing along some chocolate goodies to share.

Endnote and MultiSearch
I discovered this the other day, but others might already know. When I was taking an Endnote session I realised how nicely MultiSearch allows us to import from the library catalogue.
Do a search in MultiSearch, save your titles (books, journals, whatever) to ‘Saved items’. When you go to ‘Saved items’, there is an Endnote tab. Click on this. When the pop-up turns up, choose ‘open’. Endnote will launch and your items will import directly.
I think it is much better option than the clunky catalogue search available via Endnote. What do you think? Are there any fish hooks that I have not noticed?

Thanks for the lunch!
Liz, Gail and Cynthia,
Thank you so much for the wonderful lunch we had yesterday. It was great to have the chance to farewell staff and to acknowledge that from December 1st the library will be a very different organisation to the one we have today.

Shoe display
The EDAR261 BTchLn (Primary) Visual Art Course Year 2 students have an amazing shoe display in the Education Library at present. Students have taken shoes and turned them into works of art. Come and see for yourself.

Dear Colleagues
We are currently seeking book reviews for the December edition of the Journal of Adult Learning Aotearoa New Zealand (JALANZ). If you have recently read a book that you would like to review for our readers, this would be most appreciated. Ideally we would like to receive any reviews before the end of November. If anyone is interested, I would be delighted to receive your email reply and I can give you further details.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this
regards
Ronnie

…is out of action. Elizabeth has rung the people who look after it to come and fix it. Meantime, people can print in Kotuku.
