If anyone has any spare complete packs of cards, I would be a very grateful recipient. I am wanting about 30 packs and thought I would ask around before purchasing…in the interests of recycling etc.

Welcome Lisa!!!
In true Librarian fashion, there is a morning tea planned to welcome Lisa to the Subject Librarian team.
Wednesday 14th of August at 10.30 in the Central Library staff room. Bring a small plate to share if you are able. Otherwise just bring yourself. The more the merrier.
Congratulations to our published colleagues!

Get Started! from home
Teaching the online Get Started! workshops from home last night for the first time. Fiona was logged in at her place across town. It went well, with no major hitches. My stupid cat did start meowing at the top of his lungs while I was delivering content. When I apologized for the incessant noise, turned out no-one else heard him. He got chucked outside between workshops. Will that learn him? Nah, don’t think so.
