Review of LIANZA Personal Membership Fees

I am leading a small team looking at the current LIANZA personal membership fee structure. As part of this review, we would like to gather feedback from the library community on the current member rates.

There are several ways you could let me know your thoughts –

Email me any comments or suggestions.

Come along to a meeting to share your views. Barbara Garriock (LIANZA President) will also be present.

Where – South Library, 66 Colombo Street (cnr Hunter Tce and Colombo St)
When – Thursday 21 January, 6.30 p.m.

There will also be an opportunity to comment on membership rates via an online survey, which will be distributed soon.

I’d like to hear anything, but here are some questions to get you started –
What do you think of the current membership categories (is the criteria clear)? Are they necessary, should there be more/less?
Is LIANZA membership value for money? Why did/didn’t you join?
Should membership rates be standard for all, or based on income?

Please let me know any thoughts/questions.

Cheers

LIANZA Xmas Drinks

The Aoraki regional committee would like to invite you to an informal soiree on Thursday night (3 December).

Come along for a drink with the committee at the Dux de Lux from 6pm to at least 8pm.

There is no fee to attend, but LIANZA will not be providing any catering for this function so be prepared to buy your own drinks and nibbles.

Let me know if you plan on coming along.

See you there!
