Laptop Trolley

There are 20 laptops (+ trolley) on level 2 of Central in the customer services workroom. While they are not yet ready to be used for teaching, we would like to encourage their use in meetings, or with project groups or however else you think that they would be useful.

The laptops cannot be taken out individually, but the entire trolley can be booked here.

If you have any questions about how to use the laptops, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me or see a brief user guide here.

June Pānui

Kia ora koutou,

Need something to entertaining to get you through Friday afternoon? Look no further!

Pānui – June 2017
K:\LIBR-Library\Management\Communications\LTR-Newsletters\Panui 2.0\2017-06-LTR-Panui.pdf

Things to note: you might need to rotate the PDF to properly view the content on page three. Also, if you’re interested in seeing more pictures from Glenna’s trip, you can check them out here.

Comments/criticisms/anecdotes/amazement over Fiona’s octopus drawing skills can be directed to the usual suspects. (also, petition to make the library octopus our official mascot?)

Information Literacy Survey Closing Tomorrow

Kia ora koutou,

Just a reminder that our Information Literacy Survey is closing tomorrow.

It’s a very short (two questions!) survey and we would like to know any and all thoughts you have on what information literacy is, and what it means to be information literate in the UC context.

Feel free to be as brief or detailed as you want, but we want to get as many responses as possible!

You can fill out the survey at: http://canterbury.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9HzJmM0hMyH5XIV
