Gail would like to share with staff the Library Vision Statement that she prepared for the Senior Management Team (SMT).

In the past, the Victoria University of Wellington have sent us a printed booklet of the courses that they are running each year that involve subjects relating to library studies, which I leave out in the reception area of Library Administration.

This year they have sent up a disc with this information on it.

If any staff are interested in borrowing this disc, it is available from Library Administration.

Gail will be holding two State of the Nation presentations next week. The days and times are as follows:

Monday 24th August 2009 at 11:00am

Wednesday 26th August 2009 at 2:00pm

Both sessions will be held in the Central Library Staff Room.

All staff are encouraged to attend one of these presentations, but please check with your supervisor first.
