Library Christmas Lunch

Kia ora koutou,

The end-of-year Christmas Lunch is coming up very soon, on Friday 18th December.

It’s not too late to help with planning and preparation in the next few weeks, and on the day. If you would like to be involved and spread some Christmas cheer, I’d love to hear from you!

Please either Accept or Decline the Outlook appointment in your calendar by Wednesday 9th November, so we know how many to cater for.

Please let me know the details of any dietary requirements you may have. The menu is below.

We are planning a fairly relaxed and unstructured afternoon of kai and whanaungatanga. However, if you have something specific that you would like to be included we’re happy to support this. Please let me know.

Ngā mihi,
Rachel

Library presence on the Intranet

Have you had trouble finding the Library in the alphabetical list on the Faculties and Service Units area of the new Intranet?

By default the Library was listed under N for Ngā (Ngā Puna Mātauraka), but we can now be found under L for Library. But don’t forget to select “All (all levels)” first!

The decision to make this change was taken following feedback that the Library was hard to find on the intranet. You can still search on ‘Ngā Puna Mātauraka’ to find the Library.

Development of the new Intranet is ongoing, and we will likely rethink the listing once the display takes into account articles in Te Reo Māori (i.e. doesn’t list by Te or Ngā) and once the option to list under more than one letter becomes available.

Finally, if you haven’t already done so, look out on Tū ki te tahi for one of the 30 minute introductory sessions to find out how our new Intranet works. There’s one coming up next Wednesday 12th October.

Rachel
