The Library is running a Mid Semester Staff Development Programme for all Library staff. Once again there is a great range of topics, with alot of intresting tips to be learnt. This programme will run from 19-31st August at various time of the day, please check with your Manager before making your booking. Alteration to New Books Display process to accommodate the Easter break.

The current New Book display will be taken down on Wednesday 8 April (to allow borrowers to collect Holds on the Thursday, before we close for the long weekend), and will stay in place until Thursday 16 April.

As we are now coming to the end of ‘stripping’ the DVDs for the open shelves. We will now be displaying new release DVDs along with the New Books on the New Book display unit.
They will have the same status as the books, they can be requested and will be available for borrowers after a week.

This is the last new book display for 2008. The items that are now on display
will remain there until 8th of January when the normal Thursday processing
with resume.
